On Tuesday 13
September at 7pm, the Purosangue made its very first appearance on the world
stage. After years of waiting, Ferraristi from all over the world were finally
able to discover this secret so well preserved by the head quarter of
Maranello. We can already imagine what a thrill it will be to climb aboard the
Italian "thoroughbred", a vehicle that defines the quintessence of
the brand's DNA, where performance, driving pleasure and comfort are all one.
The
innovative proportions of the Purosangue make it unique as the first 4-door,
4-seater vehicle from Ferrari. The antagonistic opening of its 4 doors gives it
a theatrical and not insignificant aspect that has already charmed its public
during its official presentation in the Teatro del Silenzio of Lajatico, in the
province of Pisa.
Its
modern and unique architecture reveals voluptuous lines sculpted and chiselled
to perfection, revealing an elegant and athletic design. The Purosangue's
bodywork, underbody and rear diffuser create a synergy between the front bumper
and the wheel arch cladding, generating a curtain of air that aerodynamically
seals the front wheels and prevents the creation of turbulent cross air flows.
The
vehicle's interior has everything to please its passengers, a real jewel box of
comfort where sportiness rhymes with elegance and sophistication.
A living
space where each passenger can participate in the driving pleasure of the
Purosangue. Indeed, the internal architecture is based on the double cockpit
concept, which continues at the rear of the vehicle, creating four distinct
zones in terms of functionality, volume, materials and colours.
Finally, under the bonnet lies a naturally aspirated V12 engine in a
central position, offering best-in-class performance, with a 0 to 100 km/h time
of 3.3 seconds and a 0 to 200 km/h time of 10.6 seconds. A unique driving experience in the image of Ferrari.
